Uh.oh.

My dog Charlie might have lyme disease.  It’s sad.  I will be hearing about it from the vet.  They’ve warned me that preliminary results show that he’s been exposed to a lyme tick.  Yuck.  I’ll keep you posted. 

People are all excited about the July 4th holiday.  It’s a big thing to celebrate in the continental United States.  Patriotic people go all out with their barbecues and fireworks.  The small town, Catonsville, where I live has an annual parade at 3:00 p.m. in the swealtering hot sun.  Hooray.   I’ll probably be watching television.

You see, I grew up on a small U.S. territory–Guam–in the western Pacific Ocean.  It’s where coconut trees proliferate and cool tropical breezes create a laid back way-of-life.  Wasn’t that a mouthful?  Go ahead and do a search for Guam on Google.  

I wanted to share this link with you guys.  It’s Lea Salonga singing “On my Own” from Les Miserables.  This is her performance at the tenth anniversary concert in London, UK.  She was also the voice of Jasmine in Disney’s Alladin.  I guess she’s a Filipina icon.  What do you think of her?
